New year!

Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I know I haven't updated in a while and I need to change that. I want to start updating and posting more. Alot has been going on in my life. I have a wonderful boyfriend I started dating in May. I started cosmetology school in march and I will hopefully be finishing this April. I've been spending alot of time on my friends. I've started making a few new things this year. I'm hoping to put up pictures soon. I have alot of big plan this year. I'll be going to 2 new cons this year, which i'm really excited about. I'm going to Acen, anime central in Rosemont, IL. I will be returning to Jafax in Allendale, MI where one of my fellow artists from my studio, Laura and I will hopefully have a booth and we will be selling our artwork and I also may be helping another friend with his panel. Then I'll be heading out to Colossalcon in Sandusky, OH. Then of course I'll be going back to Youmacon as always. I'm hoping to bring out some new pieces as well and new cosplays as well. I'm so ready for this year, I'm ready to change somethings in my life and this new year is going to be a fresh start for me. I'm very excited.

Okay lots to write. Let's start with youmacon. Omg was this year fun!!! i got to meet lots of people I had been corresponding with over the forums. I was so happy to meet them and I can already tell they are going to be some really awesome, really close and friends that I'll have forever. But I'll break down everyday and kind go over the highlights.
Thursday-After getting to Tony's house, we chilled for a while as he finished up props. Then we got picked up and then we picked up Mary and finally got on our way to the con. We got there later than I had hoped, but we got there. We rushed up to our room and hustled down to the reg line which was soo long but we got through it. lol Then I went and changed into pj Larxene and met up with some of forum buddies FINALLY! I couldn't wait to meet them, and they are awesome. So I had my big breakdown on this night. I had to see my ex and his gf and I was really offended because she was totally rude to me and like ignored me, and well she did this all weekend, she spoke to me once and was rude to me when she talked to me. But I had my breakdown, went and cried for a bit, collected myself and went back to my new friends and then started crying again, I'm so glad they were there and they comforted me and then we went back to their room and hung out, which was fun, then I stumbled back to my room at like 2ish maybe later, lol.
Friday- I got up and changed into Larxene and got my hotness all ready, lol. I went down to the con and hung out for a bit and then headed to opening ceremonies, where I got to first lay my eyes on Vic Mignogna for the first time in person!!!!!!! I was freaking out and fangirling like crazy. lol After that I had my Sailor Moon panel I went to. Chris was running late, like usual, lol. It was amusing and we had lots of technical problems, but things started working as soon as I had to leav for the kingdom hearts photoshoot and that was alot of fun, even though I had to see my ex's gf. I was excited because a Xigbar cosplayer who I had met at Anime Detroit this year and ran into before the kh shoot at youmacon lended me an extra organization coat she had. I was the only Larxene there which made me feel special, lol. Then Jacki had me strip for her at the shoot, lol. We took lots of pictures. Then my friend Eric got a group of us, one of each org member to do a bit of a private shoot for a few minutes, it was fun, got some cute shots. Then after that I had to rush up to the room and do a costume change. I was sad I missed the Yu-Gi-Oh panel but I had to go change into Mai so I could make the photoshoot. And Julia of course got Lk to come down to the shoot for a bit. I was so glad because I got my photo with him like I wanted in my Mai cosplay. ^^ Then right after that I headed to Vic's autographs. I met some really nice girls while waiting in line, we ended up standing in line for three hours for autographs of Vic, Caitlin and Todd. Though t his staffer tried to kick us out of line after we were in line for 2 and a half hours but I was like no, I'm 10 feet way from Vic, no way. I was soo happy I was able to give him my gift and get a hug and a picture with him, I was shaking and kinda crying a bit. Two years I had been waiting for that, I was sooo happy. Then after that I went and crashed.
Saturday- Put my steampunk on in the morning for a bit and headed to LK and Kroze autographs. Got some hugs and meet some really nice girls in line. Then changed and did something, maybe eat, lol. Then got in line for Vic's panel with some friends, the ones from the line on friday. Was sitting the fourth row back right on the end. He keep coming near me and I was freaking out and taking lots of pictures. He was totally wearing his jedi robes, soooo awesome. Then I finally got to see his fan film Fullmetal fantasy, it was soo funny and soo awesome. Then I went to my room and got rested for the rave. Then hung out with my new buds for a bit, went to Mario Party after dark for a little while and then headed to the rave to dance the night away. Then I crashed very, very late. lol
Sunday- Last day of con, soooo sad. Got up put on Hotaru. Went to Brad, Chris and Patrick's autograph session, go things singed and got a pic with Brad. Then I had some time to kill before I headed to the Seramyu and you panel, which was lots of fun, got to see people I haven't in a while. I got to see some awesome dancing, hear some great music and got to do some dancing to a song I kinda new most of the dance. Then I chilled for awhile. Then I headed to closing ceremonies with some friends, and got to hear all the wonderfulness. I was so sad to see the con go but I had such a blast. Then we all piled in the car and headed back to our "normal" lives. I hated driving home that night. And that was the con. I know lots to read, lol.
Now onto my birthday!!! My 21st birthday was on friday, yes guy fawkes day, remember remember the fifth of November. I was soo excited I was expecting something from Kevin and it ended up being red roses plus a cute little balloon and the card with it was sooo sweet. I love him sooo much. Well after that, mom and I went out, got some lunch, got my eyes checked out, ran some errands and then I got a manicure done. that night I went out to dinner with my family and some family friends and it was nice, got to drink, got a huge button, like the size of my hand from my sis that said birthday girl and she wrote 21 on it. I didn't even get carded when I order my first drink. lol But it was a nice night. Then last night was the best. I had a family thing I went to for a bit and then I got picked up by my new buddies and we went to this bar. It was karaoke night. So the guys kept going up there and singing and dancing and making fools out of themselves but it was fun.I got carded, even with me wearing the big button, lol. I did not sing cause of my stage fright but I did get up and dance at one point, we did the time warp and the cupid shuffle, it was fun. Got to drink a bunch and my friend paid for me which I told him I could pay but he said no, he's a sweetie, him and his gf. And we even got an extra hour at the bar cause of the time change!!! yay!!! But it was a good night and I went back and crashed at my friend's house. Me, her, her bf and our friend Robby. We all eventually got up and went out and got some lunch, which was nice. Then we all separated and Robby went to meet up with some other friends and Spike, and Laura drove me home and now know where I live and said they will come and visit me more!!! I'm so excited, I don't ever have friends visit me. So I had a great weekend, I love hanging out with all of them they are so much fun.

Youmacon, Birthday and lots more.

Okay so it's been a long time since I've updated and I know bad me, lol. I need to learn to update more, but things have been crazy here and I've been trying to deal with life.
Fist order of business. My boyfriend Kevin is currently deployed with the Navy. I would love it if you all could please keep him in your thoughts and if your religious please keep him in your prayers, thank you all. ^_^
Okay next thing is Youmacon is this weekend and I'm really excited about it. Life's been kinda rough lately and I really need this break from reality. I will be cosplay the whole weekend. I will have casual Larxene from kingdom hearts, Mai Valentine from Yu-Gi-Oh, I may bring Hotaru from sailor moon but will probably only wear that to the seramyu panel and that's it and then I will also have my steampunk cosplay with me, which is improved. So if any of you see me there stop and say hello. ^_^
So the weekend after Youmacon is my birthday weekend. My 21 fist birthday is that friday the 5th. Yes remember remember the fifth of November(if you get the movie reference good job you get a gold star. ^^). I can't wait for that. I'm still unsure of what I'm doing because my ex husband and his gf may ruin my original plans but nonetheless I will have a good time some way, lol. I'm excited too cause Kevin got me something and I don't know what it is but I'll get it on my birthday, I'm excited to find out what it is. ^_^

Update!!

So hi everyone, I hope you all are doing well. I'm doing pretty okay, life's been getting a little better for me. I met this totally amazing guy about two months ago, and we've started dating. It's almost been three weeks now. He's great, he really is but one bad thing. He's in the navy, I mean that's total honorable but I hate the long distance. This last week was great though he was able to come in for a week. So we had some good times, we met each others parents and he met some friends of mine. We had a great time, we really did, but today he went back to Washington. It sucks but we both knew this was going to be like this. On tuesday he leaves for a 8 month cruise, then hopefully after that he'll get three weeks off to come home and spend time with me. But after that he'll leave again but it's okay cause by January of 2012 he is done with the navy, i'm excited. I haven't felt this good in a very long time, he makes me feel so amazing. I never thought I'd date a military man but I guess I never found one worth waiting around for until now.
Okay so art update. I'm still open for commissions please people I need some money, lol. Tell your friends and family, I can draw, do hair pieces, let anyone know!! I'm still alive!! lol

Yes I'm still here everyone, lol. I've just been busy with life and stuff so I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while. This is way long over due. But I would like to thank everyone I hit 2,000 pages views the other day. Thank you everyone who watches me and who have bought things from me.
I'm still open for commissions send requests to sakurakenji@gmail.com. I want to get an oder form written up soon so people can order things easier. And if you have any questions you can send them to the same e-mail as well.
Like I said i've been busy. I started babysitting again for a friend of mine and i'm trying to work on my cosplays for youmacon. I'm so exited for youma I can't wait. I have lots still to get done but hopefully everything will turn out for the best.
And soon my divorce will be final, which will be good cause then I can really move on. He's already moved on and it's not like I haven't had feelings for anyone but I need to find the right guy for me. I'm trying to take things slowly and that's all I can do. I'm taking everyday one step at a time. Sure I have my bad days and I break down but i'm doing better than I expected but I guess that could be cause I have such great friends. I love my friends very much and they are always there for me. They are my family, they care so much. So to all of you who are my friends, I love you guys. And to all of you who are not, then lets be friends. Trust me you won't regret it. ^_^
